The streamline range of tableware was designed in 1936 and is very collectible. The range for sale is in the pattern known as Twintone and was marketed after the 2nd World War. This tableware design was modernist in feel and very popular and sold well into the 50s and 60s and was produced up to 1981. This specific Twintone colouring is known as Sky Blue / Dove Grey. This set consist of 74 pieces as detailed above. This is a rare chance to own an extensive set of a very collectible 1950s design tableware. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or signs of restoration. All pieces are marked to the base with the Poole factory backstamp.

Poole Pottery was established in England in 1873 by Jesse Carter. The Poole factory continued to make collectible pieces throughout the latter part of the 20th century. Other popular and collectible patterns are Freeform, Delphis and Aegen. Poole factory is an exceptional factory reflecting the age of modernist ceramic design in England.
