Stunning studio ceramic pottery, beautifully sculptural angel candleholder finished in a high yellow gaze. The form of the candle holder is soft, which makes the candle holder even more appealing especially in this caring festive Christmas period. The candle holder is marked to the base with the SMF Schramberg from West Germany, the candle holder is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
The price is per piece. The "SMF Schramberg" mark identifies productions of a Villeroy & Boch factory that operated in Schramberg, Germany. The factory was taken over in 1912 and finally closed in 1989. The factory was most famous for its majolica and the designer Eva Ziesel, but also produced other forms of earthenware.
